Born and raised in Guwahati, Dr. Samarjit Khanikar completed his MBBS and MS Orthopedics from Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH). He became the first fellow from the North East to complete a one-year fellowship in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine.
He has since completed advanced Joint Replacement fellowship training at the prestigious Samsung Hospital, NamKise Hospital, and GangbukHimchan Hospital in Seoul, South Korea, and has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 2011.
